FACILITIES AT HOME
Accommodation is available in either single en-suite or shared rooms facilities with;
- Nurse call system
- En-suite facilities
- LCD TV
- Wireless handset telephone
- Electric nursing beds
- Wi-Fi internet connection
Profiling nursing beds. All rooms are tastefully decorated. Families are encouraged by the home to bring in personal items/ furniture to personalize rooms.
Meals can be taken, either in the comfort of their room or else with company in the pleasant dining room situated next to the garden lounge.
The home has excellent links to local doctor’s, physiotherapists and chiropodists, who are able to visit the home when required. We also enjoy weekly visits from our hairdresser, who is also happy to arrange appointments at other times when requested.
Daily newspapers and magazines can be arranged, and there is a large selection of books available around the home.
ACTIVITIES AT HOME
Keeping our Residents active in mind, body and spirit.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities The program is created with the interests of residents in mind.
All staff are responsible for ensuring all residents, regardless of ability, have the opportunity to become involved in specifically designed therapeutic activities.
These include exercise classes, art groups, gardening and cooking to mention only a few.

One-to-one activities or handicrafts and musical entertainment and trips out to the local library for the events held or just for a stroll along the beach to get an ice-cream amongst others.
Langley Lodge Nursing home is equipped with internet access to help residents to keep in touch.
Parties are organized for birthdays/ anniversaries, Christmas and other special occasions.
In the summer, garden parties and barbeques are arranged. Relatives are invited to participate in all social events.
Family and friends are encouraged to supply an email address to enable management to update on events ongoing with-in the home.
